Mount Carmel would like to thank John Lennon, Willie McCormack and Franny Laffin for hosting a Tractor Run in aid of Mount Carmel on the 27th October 2024. It was the first time we held this event and it was the most enjoyable day and a wonderful success. 47 automobiles took part, and along with a raffle and auction for sticks donated, we made €4000 on the day. We cannot thank them enough. We would also like to thank all who donated the sticks and coal, Francis Laffin, Kevin Barry, Brendan Grace, Nigel Brett, John Lennon and Paul Barry, and to everyone who gave raffle prizes. The businesses of this town give time and time again and we cannot thank them enough. Please show you appreciation by supporting these businesses.
